Prospective Students

Come visit us! A call to the Music Department office is the first step in arranging a visit that might include attending classes or rehearsals, receiving a short sample lesson, or eating a meal with current students.

Application to the Department of Music is a two-step process: the applicant must apply to the University of Connecticut undergraduate admissions office and also audition at one of the Department of Music's audition days. It is best to file an application with the University before coming to audition. The next set of auditions will take place on the following dates:

February 11, 2012
February 25, 2012

Applicants wishing to audition for admittance in the Spring Semester should audition on the December 10th date.
