Melinda Fields holds a bachelor of music degree from the University of Memphis, a master of music degree from Northern Illinois University, and pursued post-graduate study at the University of Texas. She has appeared as a soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician throughout the United States. Fields is a faculty member of the Community School for the Arts and a lecturer in the Music Department at the University of Connecticut.
